Amanda Jane is my best friend and my favorite writer. As a wife and mother of three, busy with all the things she has going on, I feel lucky that she enjoys sharing some of her witty writing here at Girls Pearls and Powder.
Amanda Jane is the person I call for all my social conundrums, she has been for over a decade, and has never let me down. She knows the proper thing to do and say, helps me to see another's point of view, and in situations where there is nothing I can do - she helps me realize everything is going to be just fine, and can usually get me to laugh about it. I think because she is so socially aware of people and situations, she is also one of the funniest people I have ever met. She just gets it. I see myself hoping to sit by her at a dinner parties for many many years to come, simply because I don't want to miss any of her jokes and whimsical anecdotes --- which is one of the highest proper mountain woman complements I can bestow on anyone.
My favorite feature on the blog is the Q&A etiquette column, Ask Amanda Jane. This column allows all proper mountain women looking for etiquette help the ability to tap into this woman's delightful expertise.
