Andie wore the green one home last week, and it got me excited for snow in the mountains. Then today, after a week of beautiful September weather, it has been cold and windy... too cold to hike, but perfect to be wearing an arctic print sweater with wolves and igloos on it.
This is the best time of year, sunny days you get to hike among the fall leaves, cold days you get to hunker in and work on projects while anticipating some snowshoeing and snowboarding. Today I got a little quilting done and worked on an article for a gun review site... and I am brimming with excitement that it's snowing up in the mountains right now.
Hopefully you proper mountain women have your cupboards full of chamomile tea for tonight, it feels like it's going to be a good night for tea.
