Joy

Sorry for not making posts. My recent lack of blogging is probably a good thing, it means at Horrocks I'm working hard with no distractions, and that at home I'm playing hard and am completely distracted.

Current list of distractions:

turbo kick boxing
dressing as an indian (feathers)
good indian food (dots)
biking 21 miles on the tandem
late nights at nic and amandas
shooter, the movie
plane tickets to seattle
bottle rocket air raids on dance parties
dirty wet clothes
free concerts at the galivan center
fabric to be quilted
diet coke runs
helping mom and dad steal bricks from abandoned houses
practicing the organ
dark knight ticket waiting on my fridge
tom's hammock across the ditch
funnel cake
ute stampede
son of ranbow, thursday, with friends and toney
trying to finish the book of mormon
dinner on the deck
corn on the cob
hikes to sunset peak
swimming
shake it, by metro station, the song

  2. I was really sad that you hadn't been blogging, but after reading your list, i feel really good that you haven't been. (except that i love seeing the list.) When are we going to get to that quilting? My room is clean and a good workspace now.

  3. "helping mom and dad steal bricks from abandoned houses" - I need to call your mom and dad to hang out.

  4. Word, Katie. That's the one that stuck out to me, too.

I think our parents should get together. My parents are great at climbing through windows of houses no one lives in so they can check them out if the front door is locked. That means my parents could check out the inside and make sure the house isn't bugged while your parents steal the bricks.

What are they doing with the bricks? Probably making a pathway.

  5. Whitney dear please stop telling the world about my late night stealing activities.....I'm trying so hard to overcome the habits of my white trash upbringing.

  6. I love that you help your parents steal. Parents are the best for entertainment, aren't they? Sounds like something my dad would have me do.

  7. Ravoe, your bricks are beautiful; and the way you used them, simply classy. They could now be photographed in a home magazine. Before, they would've ended up in the dump.
