Construction Cones Galore

There are SO MANY construction cones all over. I almost pulled over to the side of State Street yesterday in Orem and started huck'n them to the side of the road.... why does every road in the whole county have lane restrictions right now?!?!? And this is coming from the girl who typically loves construction because a.) it means I have a job and b.) seeing hot construction workers everywhere. I'm am finally just fed up with it all, it's too much!

So after church today I drove the loop to my parents house to Highland. It makes sense that from Canyon Road to Canyon View Drive I would take the canyon. And it took the same amount of time to get to Highland as it did in all the construction yesterday.

And - the last Sunday in October, the leaves are all gone. All that's left are naked quackies and stunning pines. It's still beautiful up there --- and it got me excited for snowshoeing and Christmas.

I love the mountains. Whatever the season.
