I ran into this rattle snake today! And I was thrilled, I had never seen one in the wild before!
When I came down the mountain I stopped and said hello to grandma and grandpa pack because they were out sitting on their driveway. I told them I had seen a rattler on the trail. Carl said there is no mistaking the sound of the rattler, even if you haven't heard it before, you know what it is when you hear it. So true, there is no mistaking that sound. It was eerily exciting when I heard it.
The picture is a little blurry because I was in a hurry, I don't think he liked getting his picture taken. So I snapped the photo, said goodbye in parseltongue, then left him alone.
