The Tan Fridge
Over the weekend I went with Mark to pick up his new fridge which he had found on Craigs list in St. George. Mark was very excited about picking it up because he got a pretty good deal on it. After it was loaded up into the back of his truck I walked over to look up at it. Mark came over and stood next me and asked me what I thought, which apparently must have been written all over my face because he said "you hate it, you hate it because it is not fun".
It surprised me that he said precisely what my thoughts were, and he was exactly right! It was not a fun fridge, it was so plain and tan and normal! It is hard for me to get excited about normal, and it is very rare that I buy something normal.
I was looking up articles on Urban Planning tonight and came across this picture, and I love it! I love when people do fun things like this! I love different! I love when people break the rules and make something creative, and I hate zoning and city ordinances that make you have normal homes and property, ugh! And I think it will be the death of me if I ever have to buy normal tan fridges one day, and I hope that day never comes.
