Sharing TIme: Blue September Sapphires

September's birthstone is a sapphire - which symbolizes clear thinking. Such a good stone for this month. In September the air gets cooler, the skies look bluer next to the changing leaves, and combine this with being up in the mountains this time of year and you will start thinking more clear.

So break out your sapphire or blue jewelry... it adds briskness and clarity to your fall attire.

Here's a little anecdotal piece of information: the Georgian Calendar has birthstone poems for every month of the yearand in 1870 Tiffany Co. published these poems (they were apparently the first to ever publish them). It was to help advertise birthstones in jewelry consumption.

A sapphire on her brow should bind

'twill cure diseases of the mind
