CBWMC Part VI: The Big Lebowski

Last Wednesday, we watched The Big Lebowski. I've been looking forward to this one because so many people love it. Cult classic films are interesting to me. The Big Lebowski flopped when it frist came out, but now people consider it one of their favorite Coen Brothers.

The cool thing about cult classic films is that there is tons of original artwork for the film on the internet, behold:

Things I loved about the movie:

• -"The Dude" - I love Jeff Bridges sloppy character so much. He reminds me of dudes I've hung out with when I was younger, and worried about a little, because I didn't want them to grow up to be "The Dude" forever. 

"Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"

• And poor Steve Buscemi (his demise cracks me up):

A guy at work wore his "I don't roll on Shabbos" shirt for me, in honor of me having just watched the movie. And another coworker was looking up facts about the movie and found out how many F words were in it: 292, or something like that. Yikes. Sorry mom.

Not my favorite Coen, but I enjoyed it.
