New Orleans

I'm back in Utah, and more in love with Utah - that happens to me every time I leave. I love the big blue skies, the big mountains, and dry heat. The end of August is heavenly, the anticipation for fall makes me giddy.

I made the funnest trip of my life over the weekend down to New Orleans to visit my trainer. My trainer, my friend, my sister, my sora, my sorma, my penpal, my costi I love the mosti, naomi, nai-nai... miss constantinescu.

I've been dying to visit New Orleans since high school. That whole state has been calling my name forever. It's got so many things I absolutely love: good sea food, yummy seasonings, cajun culture, architecture with a european flavor, polite southern manners, cowboys, voodoo, swamps... and don't forget the sinning, I love me some good sinning!

Please take note of the 'Jesus is Lord Plumbing Co.' van in front of central grocery, and the mardi gra beads hanging in the trees from the parades.

  1. That plumbing truck was the first thing I noticed. I would feel like a sinner if I hired anyone else.
