Ice Machines and Loud TV

Life is so weird right now.

I'm alone in my hotel room, and McKay is up in her hotel room.

I can hear the ice machine every time it is used, because it's right outside my door. Someone just barely got some ice and it's 1:37am. I have never fully understood the need for ice machines in hotels. The ice machines and those little plastic buckets that are provided in hotel rooms. In other hotels I have filled up that bucket with ice just because I have thought that was the thing to do. Then, in the morning, it's just water in a little plastic bucket. You're welcome, cleaning maid, are you confused by the water in the bucket? So am I.

I can currently hear my neighbors TV going from the wall directly behind me.

I can't wait for this survey work to be over and done with. I guess I must be getting older because this sort of work doesn't stay exciting to me like it used to. After being up here a couple of days I just want to get home to my little orchard shack, and back to my normal routines.

I threatened a lady with my pepper spray today to just get her freaking survey done. And as I drove by another house today, I rolled down the window, and yelled at the black man standing outside, "are you going to fill out that survey? or do you just not care?!?"

He didn't care.

I'm getting sloppy.

  1. Is yelling at people from your car in the job description? (Connie De not Alison)
