Anecdotes and Antidotes

I've never read the definition for anecdote until today. I've always heard it, kinda knew what it meant, and just assumed it was sorta like the word 'antidote' but instead of remedying the sick & injured - it remedied a social situation. I don't know! I'm a college drop-out!

anecdote:
1. a short account of a particular incident or event, especially of an interesting or amusing nature

 

2. a short, obscure historical or biographical account

That is so cute, I love perfect words. And now I know.
