~favorite moments and memories of 2009~
returning to my hotel in pacific harbor and having Mary hand me Nate's note,
which informed me he had made it to Fiji
which informed me he had made it to Fiji
having "happy" smeared on my face, asking the chief to dance, and laughing
harder than ever before at the sight of men wearing ladies dresses
bathing (skinny dipping) in the river behind the club corral coast w/ Mary,
because we played tennis too much to wait for a shower
witnessing a fire ball streak across the sky, from my sleeping bag in the pine hollow parking lot
being a member of the NRA
buying this little friend
being caught in a hail storm w/ Andie at Mesa Arch at Canyonlands
(andie and dewey in moab)
filling my camel back w/ delicious spring water up in the tops of the mountains (twice)
learning to knit
tying my quilt
learning to lift just one eyebrow
watching lots of psych with the family
mary and dewey starting to date!!!

taking my bike to nevada, riding it next to wild horses,
and hanging w/ these cute girls:
finding the world's stash of salt water taffy, we were naturally thrilled
(in this picture we get a glimpse of mikey taking our picture)

falling off a cliff, and biking away alive
and rubios opening up in american fork
(not waiting in line for doors to open was also my biggest regret of the year)

You did a lot this past year! Lots of fun stuff anyway. How come MVC isn't on your list ;)

I love your list. I'm so glad i got to share so many of those moments with you. And Holy Smokes, i forgot how great it was to see that ball of fire light up the earth. It was such a good year.
ReplyDeleteI made the list twice...(kind of, I was there when you filled up your water bottle at the top of a mountain once.) I'm glad you kept track of it all. You need to print this off for posterity...cause we all know that Y2K is still going to come back to bite us all in the butt someday.
ReplyDeleteI miss those days of doing everything and anything all the time! I love everything you did in 2009. It reminds me of my life from 2005 to 2007. Not to say I don't love my life right now! I do. It's amazing and I have different adventures to reflect back on. Life is awesome!! You are awesome!
