Mountain Words Defined: Convivial

I own and keep a giant dictionary near my bed for when I come across words I don't know.

Sunday night I came across the word 'convivial' and had to look it up.

convivial = fond of feasting, drinking & good company

great word, I need more convivial people in my life.

And last night I had to look up the word 'cad'. It means a man who acts w/ deliberate disregard for another's feelings or rights; someone who is morally reprehensible. Which is too bad, because I call myself a cad tech. It may be a sign that I need to change professions.

  2. Nic does the same thing. I always find post-its with strange words in his pockets. Plus he has a mini dictionary in the car for words on the go.

I like convivial, I'm hoping 2010 will be a banner year when it comes to convivial living.

I know it hasn't been that long, but I'm so happy you're back to blogging. I was always secretly hoping that picture post you told me about would pop up on here...
