While I Do Love Autumn....

RaVoe called me at Kohlers tonight to tell me that on the news it showed people were skiing up at Alta today, how exciting! I bought myself this helmet online this afternoon... I'm looking forward to using it soon.

I was re-reading some of my old blog posts just recently, and noticed I write a lot about the weather. And more times than not, the weather is usually making me very happy. The changes in the weather are invigorating. After a winter of wet pants and scraping snow, spring is ok. After three months of sun and heat, a fall storm is just what we need. And after a glorious fall, we are ready for scarves, ski lifts, and the smell of pine trees (at least I am). I am happy I live in an area where the four seasons are so prevalent. I thought for a while I would like to live in a desert because I love cacti and lizards... but the mountains are so wonderful, especially strapped to a snowboard.
