My heart was swelling with joy on my descent from the Jordanelle look out, back down into Heber. The hard climbs were finally over, and it was all down hill.
And as the air whipped all around me, and I soared past all the breath-taking reds, oranges, yellows up in Heber Valley, knowing I had conquered those giant hills, not wanting to be anywhere else, enjoying the fullness of September and all her glory... this song is what was on my lips:
