There's Nothing The Road Can't Heal

...had to get me canteen filled.
(picture from nov 08', mary and I)

I love Utah, and feel blessed to live in (what I think is) the most beautiful place on Earth. It felt good to take a break and stare at the beautiful desert scenery, instead of my computer screen at work.

Sometimes I think I could go camping every weekend, and never get sick of it. Especially while camping you can still go out to eat and see Wolverine. And especially when you are surrounded by good jokes, good food, good people.

Two of my favorite moments on the trip:  Andie and I getting caught in the hail storm from hell at Mesa Arch (which I think is my new favorite arch) and sprinting back a half mile to the van.  and Dewey crawling into my bossom while trying to get into my kayak.

thank you, desert.

  4. Ha! Someday I will see those arches. Do you know, all the years (on and off) I lived in Utah, I never made it south of Springville?

    What. A. Waste.
