I Took SouthWest and Now I'm In The North West
Today I bought myself some really great organic conditioner at trader joes. I just hopped out of the shower and feel so fresh and clean. Taking a shower was one of the first things I did when I got to Seattle yesterday, and I washed all the Utah off of me.
Last night Kaylene and I fell asleep early and slept and slept... and then got up and went to green lake park. I had a really fantastic run around the lake. Things that made it fantastic: stopping and eating bearries along the shore, seeing painters and sculptures, listening to U.S.E. and people watching.
Now, after two good Seattle showers, a good nights rest, a breakfast of porridge and eggs made by Kaylene, running in the park, lunch in another park with hummus, pita, and the best peach I've ever eaten... I feel like a new woman. I love the north west. I don't think I'll ever leave, I belong in the evergreen state. Good thing I bought a one-way ticket here.
